Webb Gustafson (June 2, 1989 - December 30, 2012)
Webb Gustafson - surfer, cyclist, skier, adventurer, comedian, public transit enthusiast, man about town and lover of life - passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, December 30, 2012. Born in Kodiak, Alaska on June 2, 1989, Webb grew up in Berkeley and was known around town for his frequent power-chair trips down College Avenue and rides on BART and AC Transit. Webb graduated from Berkeley High and enjoyed taking French and bodybuilding classes at Laney College. Throughout his life, Webb shared his passions for foreign language, cheeses, pipes and the world of music with everyone he encountered. Webb worked as a commercial fisherman in Alaska, was a volunteer at the Goodwill of Alameda, and dreamed of someday becoming a BART train operator. An avid traveler, Webb visited Europe and Wisconsin, and had the opportunity to see his favorite show, Dancing with the Stars, in Los Angeles.
Webb is survived by his family, friends, and the many others who knew and loved him.
